Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Rich cherry and apple jam. Maple syrup, caramel. Tropical fruits, passion fruit, kiwi, grapes, starfruit, papaya, kumquat leading in to dry fig and a crack of black pepper.
Palate:
More cherry, apple, caramel and toffee. A splash of sharp tropical fruits that were consistent with the nosing. There’s a smokiness that appears to come from the cask.
Finish:
Wood, hint of tobacco resonates, lingering dried fruit. One of the best Bushmills on the market.
