Continuing with the goal of transparency, the second batch is a complex blend consisting of 40% 9 Year Old Grain, 30% 17 Year Old Single Malt, 26% 13 Year Old Single Malt and 4% 28 Year Old Single Malt. All aged in ex-bourbon with the additional hint of the 28 year old malt coming from a sherry hogshead. This is quite the complex blend with a nice backbone a buttery grain, rich malt and with an age range of between 9 and 28 years, there’s really enough here to satisfy any palate. Non-chill filtered, zero colouring, bottled at 46% yielding just 2,800 bottles.
