Another fantastic expression to come from the team at Boann Distillery. This limited release is one of just 3000 bottles released in 2020. A blend of 35% single malt that been triple distilled, and 65% grain. Initially aged in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, the blend is then transferred to calvados casks from Château du Breuil of Normandy, France. Interestingly, the liquid was left to finish for 15 months in the calvados cask. So expect a burst of apples, creamy textures and sweet undertones of cinnamon and toffee.
