The Dead Rabbit Whiskey

This fine Dead Rabbit Whiskey was made in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the world-famous Dead Rabbit bar in New York. The bar is famous for incredible cocktails, Irish coffees and their Irish Whiskey selection. Now they have added their own whiskey to that list. To create this 5 Year Old blend they teamed up with Darren McNally, previously a veteran of the Old Bushmills Distillery and now the Master Blender at the Dublin Liberties Distillery. Alongside your typical bourbon cask maturation, we have a freshly charred Virgin American Oak finish. This injects the liquid with a plethora of feisty vanilla and caramel flavours that hit the palate softly yet are robust enough to shine is a mixed drink. The results are a smooth, complex and tasty blend that offers more than you would perhaps expect from a 5 Year Old.
