Introducing one of Irish Whiskey’s oldest expressions. The Teeling 30-Year-Old Single Malt was distilled way back in 1987, aged 25 years in ex-bourbon casks, before being transferred to white burgundy wine casks for an additional 5 more years. Bottled in 2018 at cask strength of 46% ABV yielding just 500 bottles, each of which is presented in a beautiful wooden boxed decanter along with it’s own certificate of authenticity. This is truly a wonderful spirit, and unique in its profile. The white burgundy lends bright tropical notes, hits of gooseberry banana and papaya, with the French oak adding some austerity to the precociousness spirit.

Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Rose water, white grapes, tropical fruit, toffee, caramel, coffee, earthy.
Taste:
Fresh cut grass and herbs gives way to spices, coconut, wood, tropical fruit, kiwi, strawberry, and pineapple.
Finish:
The tropical fruit continues with peach and lemon, culminating in a nice dry finish.
