Nose:
Savoury chicken and waffles glazed in golden syrup lead the charge, backed by subtly salty, malted whispers and sugar-dusted citrus zest. This gives way to hints of caramelised banana, slightly tart pineapple, traditional Scottish fudge and tangy lemon preserves that gracefully waft from the glass.
Palate:
Candied ginger, briny toffee and the sweetness of honey-nougat make the first impression, soon followed by more of that tangy lemon preserve, iced maple syrup, a pinch of cracked black pepper and an abundance of creamy vanilla.
Finish:
Remnants of velvety white chocolate pudding, nutty blondies smeared with peanut butter and tangy-yet-sweet raspberries persist long after the last sip.
