Focusing on centuries of Gin making in Ireland, seasonal botanicals are placed to the fore, many of which are handpicked from the immediate locality. Angelica root, juniper, fuschia flower, lemon zest, rose hip, mint leaf, elderberry and meadow sweet result is an unusual gin celebrating its maritime and highland environment within the Mourne Mountains. Carlingford Lough, the local sea inlet a short stroll from the distillery, serves as inspiration for a Navy strength release. It’s deep water port of Greenore, lighthouse and harbour in operation for over 150 years are indicative of the importance of the lough to the region.
