Another uncompromising release from Blackadder. Each cask is carefully selected by their representative, Robin Tuchek. A philosopher in is own right with a career in the whiskey industry spanning over 30 years since the 1980s. This bottler’s philosophy of “single-cask, uncooled filtration, uncolored” has received enthusiastic support from whiskey lovers around the world. This particular non-age-statement (NAS) single malt has been bottled at 59.2% after a healthy sherry finish.

Description
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Aromas of dark chocolate. vanilla. “Creamy” if you can call that an aroma.
Palate: Burnt, bitter chocolate. Prickly effervescence stimulates my tongue. Water added reduces the spiciness to some extent and enhances the sweetness of malt and the syrup-like smoothness. Creamy, nutty, oily.
Finish: A bitter aftertaste that remains in the mouth, like when you lick chocolate slowly. Oily and dry.
