Walsh Whiskey, proudly unveils its 15th edition of The Irishman Vintage Cask, triple-distilled, cask strength. Reviving a tradition unseen in over half a century, this series showcases the mastery of blending. With the Irishman, this is specifically triple distilled single malt and single pot still whiskies, handpicked by founder, Bernard Walsh.
Bernard speaks of the 2023 edition with well-deserved pride, describing it as “a labor of love.” He points out that this exquisite blend pays homage to the illustrious traditions of 19th-century Irish whiskey, a tradition first rekindled by the 1st release in 2008. Each vintage is composed of completely new distillates, so no two releases are the same.
This non-chill-filtered offering packs a punch with a robust 55.3% ABV.
The 2023 release of The Irishman Vintage Cask is limited to a mere 8,400 bottles worldwide.

Palate:
An initial burst of succulent peaches and delicate apple blossoms entices the palate. This fruity start gradually unfolds to reveal intriguing notes of spicy figs, adding a layer of complexity and a slight heat to the mix. The finish of sweet honey offers a soothing counterpoint to the spice, creating a balanced, multi-dimensional flavor profile.
Finish:
Warm spices leave a tingling sensation, while the oak maturation adds familiar trails of vanilla and caramel. Finally, toasted almonds linger on the palate, wrapping up the tasting journey with a satisfying finish.
