Part of the inaugural series launch by the equally new Hinch Distillery in County Down. This 10 year old contains a blend of grain and malt whiskeys. Aged in ex-bourbon for 10 years with a 6 month finish in Oloroso Sherry casks from Bodega Garvey of Jerez, Spain. The malt really shines through in this one bringing distinctive spice to the front palate with the sherry cask finishing with some classy figs and sultanas. Only 3000 bottles released.

This Wicklow Rare blend is a mix of 80% grain whiskey and 20% 10 Year Old malt whiskey. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks for most of its life before being finished in Oloroso Sherry butts. A really lovely whiskey that comes in an elegant bottle.
