Teeling Small Batch

Teeling’s Flagship Irish whiskey and their bold attempt to stand out in the crowded blended category. Bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered, this made quite a splash when launched in 2013. A blend of 70% grain and 30% double distilled malt, aged in ex-bourbon for a minimum of 6 years before being married in Nicaraguan rum casks from Flor de Cana. This style of rum is lighter and closer in profile to a refined bourbon than the molasses heavy Jamaican styles. Pineapple, red peppercorn, and toffee are layered onto the high-malt blend resulting in a rich and diverse tasting experience.
