For those of you lucky enough to snap up a Teeling Renaissance Series #1, we have found one bottle you won’t want to miss. Bottled exclusively for the Swiss market, this is one of our favourite single casks to date. Distilled in 2002, this single malt was aged for 15 years in ex-bourbon before being transferred into a single Madeira cask for the remaining 3 years. Not only is the finish longer than the Renaissance expression but the ABV comes in at a cask strength of 55.6%, yielding just 294 bottles. We don’t expect this to remain in stock for long.

Description
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Crème brulée and dried fruits such as raisins and dates, accompanied by mocha, orange zest and dark chocolate.
Palate: Fresh figs and sultanas with caramel chocolate, banana cake and toffee.
Finish: Long-lasting and velvety soft with rich, dark aromas.
