Just 324 bottled exclusively for Japanese specialist whiskey store Shinanoya. Another fantastic single cask to come from the crew at Teelings. This time its calvados from the northern region of Normandy, France. Nestled between the port of Cherbourg and the mouth of the river Seine, this interesting fruit brandy retains a lot of minerality and “freshness”, typical of coastal terroir. Over 200 varieties of apples are utilized depending on the desired profile, the production of which, operates under strict AOC requirements. A very special chance to experience the best of both worlds. Non-chill filtered single cask bottled at 56.6% .

Description
Tasting notes:
Nose: Honey, apple, and damp forest floor.
Palate: Opens up to more complex herbal notes; white rose, slight aniseed, vanilla.
Finish: Watermelon and lychee. Dry oak spice lingers with apple returning in stewed form. Oily mouthfeel throughout. Add water to brighten it up. Grapefruit cuts through with more lychee and white pepper.
