The quintessential Irish Single Pot Still. The 12 Year Old expression has flown the flag for Ireland’s unique spirit for over 100 years. Initially distilled at Bow Street Distillery for Gilbey’s of Dublin, production would subsequently move to the New Midleton Distillery in Cork. The brand was sold to Irish Distillers in 1986 with the brand being relaunched in 1991 as a standalone 12 year old expression. Since then, numerous additional bottlings have been released over the decades all with differing iterations of age and strength.

Description
Nose:
A complex spicy and fruity aroma with toasted wood notes evident.
Taste:
Full flavoured and complex; silky smooth with a harmonious balance of spicy, fruity, sherry and toasted notes.
Finish:
Satisfyingly long, the complex flavours linger on the palate.
