Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Full flavoured and complex. Immediate hit of cinnamon, pepper and butterscotch. Oak, vanilla, and chocolate follow with undertones of apricot and plums.
Palate:
Sweet and spicy. This pot still produces that thick mouth coating experience one expects from Redbreast. More pepper, buttery creaminess and oak take the spotlight with sweetness creeping in from the sherry casks.
Finish:
Long and slightly savoury. That spice and creaminess fades to plums, chocolate and caramel. Dried fruit lingers.
