Introducing the Power’s Distiller’s Cut. This was launched just last year exclusively to the U.K. market. Most strikingly is the rebrand of course, with the classic power’s bottle and label having gone through a complete modernization. If your fan the classic Power’s Gold Label, then the Distiller’s Cut is the next level. This is a distillate forward whiskey meaning it’s profile leans more towards the distillate and its high pot still component and less on it’s maturation. Maturation therefore is minimal at 5-6 years, aged in ex-bourbon casks. Vibrate, creamy, honeyed; nectar of the gods. Bottled at a slightly higher ABV of 43.2%.
