Midleton Very Rare Forêt de Tronçais stands as a rare symphonic masterpiece, a first-of-its-kind small batch release. This whiskey harmoniously unites the pinnacle of Irish whiskey-making with the esteemed French oak from Forêt de Tronçais, offering a luxurious addition to any whiskey collection. It’s the product of generational expertise, combining the wisdom of master distillers and the long-held passion for coopering from the Taransaud Cooperage.

Selected by Midleton Very Rare Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman, this release features a bespoke blend of Midleton single grain and single pot still whiskeys, initially matured in American bourbon barrels from the 1980s to 2000s. The blend was then finished for an additional three years in the highly coveted T5 cask, known for its fine-grain wood and requiring a high degree of skill to craft. The T5 oak from Tronçais is naturally seasoned in the open air for five years, resulting in a cask that imparts unique characteristics to this special whiskey.

The Midleton Very Rare Forêt de Tronçais represents a seamless marriage of two of the world’s rarest and most intricately detailed pieces of whiskey history. With only a limited number of bottles available, this exquisite release epitomizes the heights of Irish whiskey elegance when intertwined with the luxury of French oak. It’s a whiskey that not only defines the pinnacle of two fine crafts but also a collectible that resonates with the essence of exclusivity and exceptional quality.
