Warm spice, full of boiled sweets, apple drops.
Touches of maraschino cherries and slightly tart redcurrants and rhubarb.
Cinnamon and nutmeg, along with marzipan and toasted nuts. Delightfully moreish.
A fruity, spicy Single Pot Still Irish whiskey enriched by Bordeaux red wine casks, with hints of soft turf smoke from ex-peated whiskey casks. It pays homage to the great Galway distilleries of the past, and to the Latin wine merchants of old who made the city their home.
The red wine finish from the ex-Bordeaux casks imparts an incredible depth of rich fruit and spice to the spirit, enhancing the soft spice and ripe barley character of the pot still whiskey.
