Description
Introducing the newest addition to the ever-expanding travel retail offering from Jameson. Tripled distilled for smoothness, triple casked for flavour. Released in the Summer of 2019 this particular blend is a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry matured grain and pot still. The Midleton Distillery go one step further, with further maturation in casks previously holding Málaga wine. Once the oldest and largest of European wine producing areas, the 3000 year old vineyards were decimated in the 19th Century from Phylloxera plague. A wine growing region of 112,000 hectares now numbers just 3800 hectares today. Making such a finish, hard to come by. The Spanish fortified wine imparts citrus notes, orchard fruits and a warm spice. Bottled as 1 Ltr; we suspect enough to last a weekend..
