Jameson 18 Year Old Bow Street Cask Strength

Finally we have the highly coveted 18-Year-Old bottled at cask strength. This is a blend of three separate distillates from the Midleton distillery; grain, light pot still and heavy pot still. Aged in both ex-bourbon and sherry casks for the majority of its maturation, the casks were then shipped to the original Bow Street site for a further 6 months of maturation in freshly charred bourbon barrels. Similar in profile to the Jameson 18-Year-Old Limited reserve however this time the chill-filtration process was omitted. The oily mouthfeel rolls and coats the palate, with dense dried fruits, leathery, nutty. Limited supply remains.
