Introducing Gelston’s Single Malt: Bourbon Cask, bottled by the newly introduced bottlers ran the O’Neill family. Founded in 1930 by Samuel Gelston, a wine and whiskey merchant from Belfast, it wouldn’t be until 1869 that the O’Neill family would purchase the business and take the business overseas to Australia. Gelston’s are strictly a blender and bottler and therefore to not distill. However they don’t discriminate with their supply, so you will find liquid of all age statements from many distilleries around Ireland. This non- age statement single malt provides bang for your buck, and is an easy sipper for the cold winter evenings.
