This devilish blend of malt & grain whiskey is liquid gold. Full of aromas of baked apples, fresh hay & warm brown sugar, it gives way to flavours of toffee apples, cider & caramel before a finish full of gentle nutmeg, cinnamon spice & lingering sweetness, imparted by years in American oak. It is best enjoyed over ice, or in a spirit-forward cocktail to showcase its fiendish character. Non-chill filtered. Named after a carved oak statue that once crowned an archway that led into the infamous, sordid are of The Liberties, Dublin.

Nose: Baked apples, fresh hay, warm brown sugar, with a floral note.
Palate: Lots of upfront sweetness, powdered sugar, toffee apples, cider & caramel.
Finish: Gentle prickle of spice: nutmeg, cardamom & cinnamon spice, with lingering sweetness of hard caramels.
