Bushmills Causeway Collection Cuvée Cask is another edition in the Causeway Collection. This time The whiskey matured for 8 years in selected Oloroso sherry barrels and in ex-Bourbon barrels. The single malt then received a delightful 2 year finish in exclusive Cuvée barrels, used initially for the first fermentation of champagne. Coloring and chill filtration omitted. The Bushmills 10 year Cuvée Cask is limited to 7,000 bottles, bottled at it’s natural cask strength of 54.8%.

Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Aromas of lemon and grapefruit, developing into sweet strawberry.
Palate:
The whiskey impresses with the characteristic Bushmills vanilla sweetness, followed by rich, caramelized toffee notes, complemented by aromas of apple pie, mandarins and a hint of allspice.
Finish:
A subtle aftertaste of citrus fruits with delicate nuances of French oak spice rounding off the single malt.
