Tasting Notes:
Nose:
The classic Bushmills stone fruit dominate. Peach and plum, some orange zest, cashews with black pepper.
Palate:
More peach leading into richer dried fruit brought in from the sherry casks. The Malaga adds a richer, warmer layer to the mouthfeel, with warming spice such as nutmeg and cinnamon.
Finish:
Spice drags on nicely, pairing with some huskier chocolate notes, some crisp zest finishing on a high.
