Bushmills 2002 SMWS

Northern Ireland’s Bushmills Distillery is one of the great icons of Irish whiskey production, and this sinfully indulgent expression, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society, is a glowing example of the distillery’s may distinguished masterpieces.

Aged over 15 years in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, the Sinful Indulgence expression of the Bushmills 2002 SMWS series is highly regarded by Bushmills whiskey fans, both veteran and novice, for its complex flavour and aroma. Suggestions of honey, ginger biscuit and red berries are an exquisite treat on the nose, followed up by a soft tang of orange zest and nectarine on the palate. Mixing with a little water will accentuate the fruity elements and draw out their underlying sweetness.
