Launched in 2013 the original recipe was first distilled at West Cork. A revamp in 2015 brought the ABV down from a spicy 52.7% to a more palatable 48%, moving the distillation operation to Echlinville distillery. The mash bill was altered to now include potatoes and sugar beets.
