This Hyde No.5 1860 Burgundy Cask was first matured for 6 years in flame charred ex-Bourbon barrels before being moved to French Burgundy red wine oak casks for a further 9 months. The results are a complex grain whisky that carries a little spice alongside smooth flavours of vanilla.
