Powers whiskey is traditionally pot-still based blended spirit produced at the famous Midleton distillery. This particular release is a single cask 15 Year Old that was released in conjunction with L. Mulligan Grocers. It was matured in an ex-bourbon cask and is a fantastic example of smooth Midleton whiskey. Only 192 bottles were ever produced.

This Midleton Single Cask 1997 was created for the Finnish market, making it quite rare. It was matured in a refill hogshead cask and was specially selected and signed by Master Distiller Barry Crockett. The bottle is one of the few Single Cask releases directly from Midleton, as opposed to societies and independent bottlers.
